What is your relationship with Jessie-Claire Immigration Services?
IDM is the agent of Jessie-Claire Immigration Services, an immigration services firm based in Edmonton (Alberta, Canada). IDM is your local contact in Douala; steps that require representation before Canadian authorities are handled by our partner in Canada.
Can you guarantee a visa?
No — and beware of anyone who promises one. Only Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) decides. Our role is to maximise your chances with the right strategy and a complete, consistent and verified file.
Which programs can I use to immigrate to Canada from Cameroon?
The main pathways are Express Entry (FSW, CEC, FST), Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), study permits, work permits (including Francophone Mobility), family sponsorship and Quebec's own programs. We identify the one that fits your profile.
Do I need to speak English to immigrate to Canada?
Not necessarily. French is a real asset: Canada targets a growing share of French-speaking immigrants outside Quebec (9% in 2026, 10.5% in 2028) and holds Express Entry draws reserved for French-speaking candidates. Speaking both languages increases your chances further.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the program, your file and IRCC processing times, which change regularly and are published on canada.ca. During the assessment, we give you a realistic timeline for your situation.
Can I be supported remotely?
Yes. You can meet us at our office (Ancienne Pharmacie Kotto, Douala) or be supported remotely by WhatsApp, phone and email, wherever you are.
Do you provide support after arrival in Canada?
Yes. We prepare your settlement (first steps, housing, employment, Canadian résumé) and remain available to guide you after you arrive.
